Supporting Our San Antonio Community, One Taco at a Time
At Straight Edge Technology, we believe being part of a community means more than just doing business there. It means showing up, getting involved, and supporting the organizations that make a difference.
On October 22, 2026, our team had the opportunity to participate in Men Who Cook 2026 in San Antonio, bringing together community members, local businesses, and culinary competitors for an evening of food, friendly competition, and giving back.
And we’re excited to share that our team brought home not one, but two awards!
A Winning Night for Team Straight Edge Technology
This year’s competition brought plenty of talent to the table, including local restaurants and experienced cooks. Our team decided to bring something bold and flavorful to the competition: homemade quesabirria street tacos served with rich, flavorful consommé.
After hours of preparation, teamwork, and serving guests throughout the evening, we’re proud to announce our results:
- 2nd Place – People’s Choice
- 3rd Place – Critics’ Choice
Competing alongside talented local culinary teams made these awards even more meaningful.
From preparing the ingredients to serving tacos throughout the evening, our team worked together to make the night a success.
More Than Just a Cooking Competition
While bringing home two awards was certainly exciting, the real highlight of the evening was the opportunity to connect with our San Antonio community.
Events like Men Who Cook remind us how important it is for local businesses to come together in support of meaningful causes.
