Meet Hank!
Hank is our Director of Account Management and has been with us for nearly nine years. He works out of our Corpus Christi headquarters, and if you’re a client, you’ll surely have met him at some point in your partnership with Straight Edge.
Hank is a proud father of two Aggies, one of whom just got engaged! If you’re into the music scene around the Coastal Bend, you’ll surely recognize Hank from any of his many performances around town playing guitar and singing.
Hank considers himself to be a pretty good cook (and he did just help represent Team Straight Edge at Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Antonio’s annual Men Who Cook event where we received second place), especially of anything on the smoker. His favorite thing to make is pulled pork sandwiches. The weirdest food he’s ever eaten, though, was anything from an MRE during his time serving in the US Army.
He enjoys this industry because there’s never a dull moment, and the best piece of advice he’s ever received was to keep his head down. He’d love it if it was easy to learn fingerpicking on the guitar, and his go-to song during karaoke is 3 Doors Down’s “Kryptonite.” He’s somehow both a night owl and an early bird. Growing up, he wanted to play in the NBA.

Meet Josh!
Josh is a Client Account Manager who has worked at Straight Edge since June of 2022. He works out of our Corpus Christi office, a city he enjoys for being on the Gulf. His favorite thing about working in the MSP industry is knowing that we can support and implement a wide variety of IT solutions across a diverse client base, and keep them functional and productive. If he were to describe his job to a kindergartner, he’d say that he makes sure people’s Internet and computers are working, so they aren’t grumpy when they pick up their kids from school.
Unfortunately for Hank, Josh is a big University of Texas Longhorns fan. He enjoys sports movies, especially about football, and Friday Night Lights is one of his favorite movies of all time. Growing up, he wanted to be a pro golfer, but more in the style of Happy Gilmore than Fred Couples. Now, he’d love it if he could get really skilled at getting out of sand traps.
As a night owl, Josh says he’s glad we don’t have too many meetings first thing in the morning at Straight Edge. He has four siblings, three older brothers and one younger sister, and the best advice he ever received was to not sweat the small stuff. He doesn’t cook much, but says he’s a decent cook, especially of his version of king ranch casserole and chicken wings.
When you get a call from Josh or see him around your office, be sure to ask him how the Longhorns are doing or if he’s gotten any better at getting out of the sand traps.
Meet Marc!
Marc is also a Client Account Manager, or as he’d tell a kindergartner, a professional friend and planner. Marc started at Straight Edge two and a half years ago in our Corpus Christi office, though he is from San Antonio originally.
If Marc were a superhero, he’d want to be Ironman because he gets to be a normal person (albeit, very wealthy) without the suit. Growing up he wanted to be a professional fisherman, a hobby he still maintains today, and he’d love to teleport to the Florida Keys and go fishing. He’s glad to live so close to the ocean now so he can go fishing any chance he gets.
His favorite movie of all time is Avatar, and he’d love to live in Pandora. His favorite book is Never Finished by David Goggins, which put his goals in a different perspective and showed him nothing is unrealistic. He’d love to have dinner with the entrepreneurs of Shark Tank to tell them his business ideas. The best advice he ever received was that nothing is easy, and everything you want in life requires work and effort.
He considers himself a good cook, especially of fajitas. He’s tried bacon flavored crickets (which is probably the best possible way to eat them). He has several pets: a dog named Milo, a goat named Bernie, two chickens named Big Red and Pepper, and three cats named Kilo, Riley, and Bagira. He’d love to learn to speak Spanish, though he was once told that he knows a little bit of everything, which was a compliment that meant a lot to him.
